Nature In Art Show
Happy Monday, everyone!
Yesterday, the Nature In Art Show in Slatington concluded with a lovely artist's reception. The gallery was a great success, featuring artwork from talented artists in Pennsylvania. A portion of sales from the art went to the Lehigh Gap Nature Centre which is a beautiful hiking area filled with birds and scenic foliage. It's located not too far from Jim Thorpe in Lehigh County.
I sold two pieces at the gallery, and I am very excited to have done so well. I wasn't expecting to sell anything, so it was a great surprise. My main reason for entering was to show my bird artwork, and the sales were a lovely surprise. I have one item left for sale which is available in the store. It's already framed and ready to hang, and it's also signed.
In this blog, I also included some photos that I took when I did a short walk around the area to check out the terrain and wildlife. It's a beautiful place. Definitely go visit if you're not too far!
